Something similar has happened to me as well, except that it was for Second Life.
Now she is a VP of a local company that runs a virutal banking and Credit card service inside Second Life.
I, however, mostly only log in once a month to pay my monthly bill to said company 
I kid. I’m immensely proud of her and what she has accomplished in her job and in the virtual world.
Now to get her started on Linux…
