not too sure what the system admin is doing but it’s been more than an hour long wait.
It is times like these that my thoughts, like most guys, turn towards dreams of having the company of something warm and soft, to chase away the loneliness.

Was emailing Vicki few days ago, back from her trip to France. She had lost her handphone during the trip and so was asking her about the new phone she will be getting. As such is the trend now, she will be moving to a new PDA/phone, joining the ranks of Spiro and myself. Having said that I just realised that I have yet to write the long awaiting review to my now cherished Treo 650. Honestly now. As someone who had long championed the idea that one device should focus on it’s set of functions and not try to be convergence and be substandard for all features, I was dragged screaming towards the idea. Maybe that’s being a little harsh, the concept is indeed the future. Just needs the correct mix of hardware and software.
more software than hardware frankly, as software can make up for some minor shortcomings of hardware. not all of course. But I really do think that the PalmOS helped make the transaction smooth for myself.
Hopefully the new HP PDA/phones have finally found that right mix.
Still I have found that some software are just essential and I’m really thankful that the PalmOS allows for a while range to choose from. Windows mobile OS is much better now I hear so hopefully all the current users won’t limit themselves just to the build in stuff from Microsoft.
