I made mention that my next post would be something about Linux and as this is a little bit related, I figured “eh…why not?”.
I saw over on the Planet Ubuntu, which is a collection of blog posts from various developers and volunteers to the Ubuntu Project, that one of their number recently got married.
While a geek in love is nothing unusual, it is when both parties take no qualms in demostrating the label attributed to them in front of tons of people on their most significant of days that things get interesting.
In this case, when Benjamin Mako Hill married Mika Matsuzaki, they choose to write their wedding vows with a…different slant.
Mika explains:
Our wedding vows were written under constraint. The constraint is explained at the bottom of this page. At our wedding, we asked people to read the vows and try to guess the constraint before we revealed it to them. You might find it fun to do the same.
Note, that’s Mathematical constraints. Check it out here.
Bottom line? WAY geekier than me. Both of them.
