Anyway, that is two packages of the free Linux based Operating System, with one package containing two Cds. One Cd is the installer Cd for doing a full Ubuntu install, and the other is a Live Cd, which allows you to try out the Ubuntu desktop on any computer without affecting the files already inside. The only drawback is the slowest of Ubuntu OS while using the Live Cd as everything is read off the cd without anything being written to the hard disk.
I already have Ubuntu installed at home, but I figured it would be good to have the official package around. It’s more presentable for when giving away, ontop of the fact that it’s free anyway. In fact, I plan to order some of these free Cd packages for when the new version comes out in April.

checked out the screens for this n i must say, looks pretty pretty. how’s the driver support?
Pretty good actually…for Linux.
It has Nvidia video card drivers and support. Flash sticks and Ipod detects and auto-mounts without issues. Very happy with the hardware support.
I hear that it has problems with some WIFI and some laptops (and more woe on ye if you are trying both) but these problems are being resolved and there are community groups who share tips on workarounds.
Want a copy? You can test out with the Live CD first…
