…amazing how time can fly in a blink of an eye. I feel like I barely have recovered from the New Year weekend, and yet here I am, right smack in the middle of my reservist training, with my birthday barely a day away.
It’s the In-Camp training that has been sapping me of my mood to write of late, cause it actually has been an eventful 10 days into the Year 2006.
I’ve gotten back into IM chatting just like the good ole’ days of ICQ (remember those times Light?), gone out a few times with both friends old and new, handled some interesting and frustrating cases at work and generally have been having a ball of a time so far.
I don’t know…I don’t want to jinx anything (as if I believed in such thing anyway) but I’m starting to think that a change has happened (with myself mainly) that would start me on new and exciting things this year.
I’m not really sure what it was that caused the change. As with most things, I don’t believe that there was just one event or incident but a whole range of factors that just combined together after enough time or under a certain circumstances. One factor that I’m pretty sure played a part was how my job seems to be giving me “thicker skin” in the sense that I’ve seen to be far more confident when it comes to talking to strangers on the phone.
Believe me when I say that this has already helped me greatly recently ![]()
Still need to work on my face-to-face though.
And so here I am waiting for my training to be over, finish up this part of my life and move on just to see where this year would take me.

You should know better than to get me started on “the good ol’ days!” As for the new year.. bring it on! *poke poke* right? right?
