Bloggers unmasked

I read today’s Digital Life newspaper regarding the recent local Blogging conference that took place here last weekend.
Firstly I would like to extend my congrads to all fellow bloggers finally getting some degree of recognition for our work. Setting up a website and throwing words up on it is easy. Actually getting people to come around to read said words is a little more complicated, having them actually come back on a regular basis and continue reading? Now that’s the whole deal right there. And my hats of to all of you who can find it in yourselves to post day after day, every single day. Heck I’ve been writing this blog for almost 3 years and I only got just over 200 posts in it. That’s not even one year’s worth if I where to post every day.

So good job everyone and I like the idea of local bloggers actually having a community of sorts to help teach each other new technologies and methods and even provide support in recommending web host or when the writer’s block hits.

That being said, throw some hits over here! Share the love guys! :)

Oh, and I love how that cameraphone to flickr.com to blog trick was demonstrated to possible new bloggers, it’s a favourite of mine as well, which reminds me, it’s been awhile since I last took some.

And I really should get around to trying out those 3 columm themes i found…oh well, so many things to do…
