Found this website that has the theme music for a whole bunch of cartoons from the 70′s to the early 90′s. They are missing a few (MASK and Galaxy Rangers come to mind) but there are alot of familiar names, even if I can’t remember any details about the shows themselves.
Of special note are:
Duck Tales
Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors
Transformers
The Legend of Zelda (only remembered watching 6 episodes of this)
The Real Ghostbusters
Robotech
and of course my personal fav
The Centurions (Crystal is such a babe)
For pure quality of music, special note has to be given to:
Voltron, Defender of the Universe
and
The Legend of Prince Valiant
looking back now, I have to say that opening pieces totally captured the whole theme of the show well…even if they were used today
ahh nostalgia…
