Earlier today I managed to have a quick IM chat with abby via Trillian. I haven’t spoken to her in some time and seen her in even less. She did make it back home last month though, but that was only for a week, which was well spent with her family, so I didn’t get to see her.
So today we said our hi’s and she asked me about school and graduation, which started me off on my rant again about my last module not being offered this term and blah blah blah… and she sympathized and said a few things, asked a few questions about alternative solutions and generally agreed with me that “that sucked”. Then she had to rush off and we said our goodbyes and agreed to start emailing again or something. Didn’t last more than 5 minutes and it isn’t the first time that I had complained about this to someone before. But you know what?
I feel a hell alot better.
