Jumping the Gap

Long gap between posts again, but that’s all right. It’s project deadline month over on this end again, with exams coming up in the following month, so it’s understandable to be busy…

Starting to get depressed regarding school again. The module that I stupidly failed last term is really starting to come around and biting me in the rear. Now it seems that it might force me to graduate even later since it doesn’t seem to be offered next term.

*sigh*

It doesn’t matter…I’m not going to waste my time just waiting for just that one module. I’ll go find work with whatever I got, like Nigel said, “It’s better than nothing”. Once I do finally complete the degree, then I’ll perhaps start looking for something else that more meets my degree level. Of course that would take some time as well, so that would put me at that first work place for a good couple of months before I leave. I don’t like the idea of jumping ship so fast, it would cause all matter of administration headaches and not just for the company but for myself as well. I’m the kind that don’t like changes in the environment too often.

Don’t want to think too much on how I could have avoided this by studying harder or by not trying to take the easy way out but what’s done is done. No point worrying about it. Just have to make do with what I do have and hope/pray for whatever comes my way. Its all that we can do in most circumstances anyway.

On a more positive note, most of the Aussie studying people are back for the holidays. It’s good to see RenRen and JusLm back and hope to spend some time with them next week in that few days break before I start seriously studying for exams. Also have to set aside time for my Dad who is still in town and still awaiting news for when Dex gets back. It’s such a pity that the month of Jan is going to be so busy with school at the new campus and all. Really would be nice to be able to spend alot more time catching up with them.

As it seems to be my lot in life, I just have to continue to treasure what little time that I do get to spend with them.
