Crap. I should have expected something like this. Just when I turn my view on something and actually give it some measure of praise, they have to go do something to mess up again.
Case in this matter is friendster, whom managed to add a new feature that allowed blog feeds to be displayed in a user’s profile. I had mentioned here that it was a feature a long time coming. But I just found out that it no longer seems to be working. At least not by the feed service I use, which is called Feed Burner.
Well it looks like someone must have changed something because, the feature was working fine for at least a week, and looking at the forums, it seems that I’m not the only person with this problem.
Looks like I’ll just have to wait and see if the problem resolves itself in a few days. If not, then it’s back to just putting the url for the blog in the profile and hope that people actually catch on to the idea of using a feedreader.
