N3w Meta

Some new additions to the weblog. I finally gotten around to adding a little site counter in the side bar. Not that that would do anything, since I’m sure the amount of visitors to this place are low. Then again, I figured it would turn up some interesting facts. So far, the most interesting one is the vistor from a Brazilian domain who stayed on the site for about 20 minutes and viewed 4 pages. Very Strange. I bet it’s the post offering the Gmail invites that is drawing all the hits. Which reminds me, still 3 more invites to give out. 1gig worth of email space anyone? They recently added new features too.

Another new button that I added to the Meta’s is one promoting the open-source Browser called FireFox that is now the rage since Microsoft dropped the ball with Internet Explorer, what with the lack of support for updates and the ever increasing security risks. I actually had been using it for some time, but there was no real need to push it since I actually like the idea of people having the choice to choose what they prefer. But with all the problems with IE and the recent leaps and bounds in advancement for FireFox, I guess I should get around to doing my part in telling people that there actually is a choice now.
